This is the second time I've eaten at Pollo Factory. Both times I've ordered the chicken; however, I definitely want to order some of their other dishes. I saw one person order the fried fish and it looked delicious.
I recommend trying the fried yuca and fried plantains. The frijoles negros (black beans) and rice are also very tasty sides.
The place is not fancy but it's clean. My only complaint if you will is the tiny plastic ware besides that I have nothing bad to say.

I've gotta be one of the luckiest kids around. I work in Falls Church and a co-worker brings me free El Pollo Rico (friends with a manager). Then I come home and live 2 minutes from something just as delicious.
Now, since I only eat EPR as carryout- 15-20 minutes after it arrives- I might be missing out on some of the crispiness that other people are talking about. As far as flavor, fries (yes, I LIKE the fries) and yellow sauce (I DON'T like spicy), however, they are downright identical.
Best in Sterling.

I work for a shipping company in Sterling and all of our employees love your chicken. We usually buy from your Sterling Park location and take the carry out. I think we buy more and more each week because the chicken's so tender and tasty. Many of us enjoy the hot green sauce too. I think I go through 3 cups of it between just a quarter chicken and the beans and rice. Good work, guys. We're big fans

My wife and I are always looking for good Peruvian food. Her family is Peruvian, so she is pretty critical of Peruvian dishes - as am I. Pollo Factory is HANDS DOWN the BEST Peruvian joint we have found in the entire D.C. Metro Area. The El Pollo Rico comparison is out of place, I personally think EPR doesn't even compare.
The chicken is awesome. The Yucca is fried to perfection. The Chicharones are hands down the best I've ever had. I think next time I'm going to dig into the anticuchos.
