This place is the real deal. The chicken is always tender and each time is like the first time. Plantains are hard to make properly but they do it. Let's just say I've refused to visit commercial chicken joints since I found this place.

This is the second time I've eaten at Pollo Factory. Both times I've ordered the chicken; however, I definitely want to order some of their other dishes. I saw one person order the fried fish and it looked delicious.
I recommend trying the fried yuca and fried plantains. The frijoles negros (black beans) and rice are also very tasty sides.
The place is not fancy but it's clean. My only complaint if you will is the tiny plastic ware besides that I have nothing bad to say.

Finger-licking good! I tried this place after reading the yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I ordered a half-bird with black beans and rice for less than $8.
The chicken was very flavorful. The skin was slightly crisp and the meat moist. I like spicy food so I enjoyed the green sauce with the chicken and the rice and black beans. I have eaten Peruvian food once before but I enjoyed this meal much more.
I got my meal to go and it came out quickly and hot. My plan was to make it 2 meals but I couldn't stop after the first quarter. Needless to say this spot is new favorite of mine.

My wife and I are always looking for good Peruvian food. Her family is Peruvian, so she is pretty critical of Peruvian dishes - as am I. Pollo Factory is HANDS DOWN the BEST Peruvian joint we have found in the entire D.C. Metro Area. The El Pollo Rico comparison is out of place, I personally think EPR doesn't even compare.
The chicken is awesome. The Yucca is fried to perfection. The Chicharones are hands down the best I've ever had. I think next time I'm going to dig into the anticuchos.
